When does a player on the attack become offsides from a corner kick?
An attacker cannot be offside if they receive the ball DIRECTLY from a corner kick. Offside will come into play on that second touch of the ball. The usual scenario - is the player at the moment the ball is played by their teammate A) closer to the goal line than the next to last defender and the ball, obviously in the attacking half of the field B) interfering with play or a defender or C) gaining advantage by being in the offside position.
